Shrinking Government; When Can We Start?

It is rather obvious that we need to reduce the size of government to about 10-20% of its current size to help it remain strong and reduce the abuse of power. What government needs is really simple; the same thing most Americans Need. A lesson in financial responsibility and a weight loss program; yes a diet. Okay?

America needs a diet and so does the ever-growing blob of bureaucracy too. Shrinking the size of government is something most everyone agrees on, yet I see no action to make it so. I would like to hear a plan on when we can start reducing this mess they have created.

Our government is owned by us and not by any other entity. It is owned by the people to serve us, it is not a government we should be economically enslaved to serve due to their ridiculous lack of financial responsibility. There answer to everything is to spend more money. When the proper answer is to stop wasting the money that they already have and reduce these budgets in all these agencies.

Each year every agency asks for more money, after piss poor performance from the previous year, and they are almost always granted the money by Congress almost as if it does not matter and it is expected you see? We must shrink the size of this government and make it our government once again. My only question is when can we start. Consider all this in 2006.
